The benefits of putting your company “out there”
Even in today’s digital age where social media seems to be getting all the attention, there is something to be said for “getting out there.”
How your business can benefit from occasionally leaving the office
Be it through networking groups, tradeshows or speaker presentations, there are many benefits to be had from going out into the community and becoming involved.
Face-to-face interactions, generating leads, making connections, checking out the competition and reaching a targeted, interested market are all some of the things that networking and tradeshows have going for them. And in terms of value for money, typically it is a worthwhile and cost-effective endeavour.
Take us, for example
Recently, our firm had a table at the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce Tradeshow that took place at the Native Sons Hall on February 23rd. The tradeshow, which showcased various local businesses from a wide range of industries, had something for everyone.
We viewed this event as a great opportunity to enhance awareness for our firm and the services we have to offer. Attending a tradeshow such as this gives businesses an affordable opportunity to promote their products and services as well as network with other local businesses.
Whether you have a business that is new to the Comox Valley or has been here for several years, consideration should be given to attending this annual tradeshow or similar events put on by the Chamber. It’s a great opportunity to meet potential new customers while also mingling with other businesses.
Want to grow your business? Consider attending a future Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce Tradeshow or join a networking group. Not only can it be enjoyable, it’s sure to pay off in the end!
