HELP A FARMER RUN A BEEKEEPING BUSINESS
Running a beekeeping business can be a sustainable and ongoing way of income generation for farmers and entire families. Having a stable source of income can help not only families, but also smaller communities to improve together, have access to nourishing food, a safe living environment and high quality education for the upcoming generations to break the poverty cycle (Kenya).
PROVIDE VEGETABLE SEEDS TO PREVENT HUNGER
One of the biggest barriers to our girls attending school is their immediate need for food. When a family is hungry, the search for food becomes their main priority and children spend their days either working or searching the forest for food. Make an impact by supplying seeds so a family can grow their own vegetable gardens. This will supply a family with enough food for their home, and sometimes extra to sell at local markets for profit (Cambodia).
FEED A CHILD AT SCHOOL
Address the most pressing problems of India – hunger and illiteracy – by feeding a poor and economically disadvantaged child for one day, one free meal delivered to the school. The provision of meals has a great impact and helps to liberate the underprivileged from the vicious cycle of poverty and hunger as it encourages parents to enroll their children into local schools, encourages children to attend classes regularly, as well as improve the attention span of children (India).
